Community
This page highlights how I've demonstrated competency in Community. Community relates to my engagement with the professional community, peers/faculty, as well as opportunities and events. I have demonstrated activity in my community at NDSU by attending shows, visiting museums, attending artist talks, participating in school trips and events, and membership in artistic communities.
Museum Visits
I have been active in my community by attending art shows, artist talks and visiting museums and galleries. I have attached a few pictures of some exhibitions I've visited, as well as a reflection of Zig Jackson's Artist Talk at the Memorial Union Gallery from March 20.

School Events
Another way I've been active in the artistic community at NDSU is through school events. Going on the trip to Minneapolis, participating in chalk fest, and attending school potlucks are some of the most memorable moments I've had with the NDSU community.

Minneapolis Trip Fall 2022
During our Foundations Field Trip to Minneapolis, we got to visit the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center, gaining exposure to many works of art movements throughout the centuries.
School Events
I strive to be part of the larger artistic community outside of NDSU as well. One way I have done this is through joining the Fargo Moorhead Visual Artist Association, which keeps me in the know on events going on in the area and opens me up to submitting my work to exhibitions only open to members of the association.

SODAA Potluck
Juried Show
In further establishing myself as part of the artistic community at NDSU, I have submitted work to the Undergraduate Juried Exhibition. It was very inspiring to see what my peers have been working on all year when I went to drop off my work. The pieces below are the work that got accepted to the show.
